How Our R&D Process Works
From start to finish, we document all drawings and assemblies critical for repeatability and quality. Creating a cost-effective design is an integral part of our process. We welcome the challenge of low-quantity, high-complexity products. This is critical for companies prototyping and needing to prove a design before moving into production.
Review Design
First we meet with you to completely understand your goal. Then review the project with our company’s designer and manufacturing team to explore pathways that fit your needs. Options for your project are presented.
Proof of Concept
Next we implement design process for proof of concept! You will be consistently updated and asked for feedback during the design. The computer-aided design (CAD) is then reviewed to ensure it meets customer satisfaction.
Creating a prototype
Moving forward we create a physical prototype. Either using rapid prototype (3D printing) or material specific components to validate PoC. Make any necessary adjustments or improvements for fit, function, and finish. Then finalize the design.
Ready for Manufacturing
With the design and prototype finished, we move on to the best part; creating a complete file package including drawings, STPs, and DXFs. It is time to bring your creation to life and start manufacturing!
