IT ALL STARTED WITH AN IDEA...

Chad began his career as a fabricator for a NASCAR race team.  Then, he worked as an Engineering Technician on B/E Aerospace’s Engineering Development Lab prototype team.  He was later promoted to Supervisor of that group. Throughout these roles, he saw a consistent demand for high-quality, reliable manufacturing suppliers.  Because existing suppliers frequently missed delivery dates and provided poor quality, Chad decided to take matters into his own hands. His goal was to create a business dedicated to producing high-quality parts with dependable, on-time delivery.

Josh and Chad met in high school and bonded over their shared passion for automobiles and racing. While Josh built a successful career as a top-level automotive technician, later being promoted to the lead working technician at several local dealerships. The two remained closely involved in racecar fabrication.  The many years spent working together on racing projects forged a strong partnership, which eventually led to the decision to establish a custom design and fabrication company.

Chad and Josh first discussed going into business together in October 2014. By January 2015, Performance Machine & Fab had acquired their first CNC machine and began operations in a 1,600 sq. ft. shop.  Since then, the business has grown significantly, expanding to approximately 17,000 sq. ft. with plans for further expansion in the near future.

Chad and Josh particularly enjoy working on design and product development projects. They believe there are few resources available for customers to accomplish this type of work, especially since their shop can handle development, design, and fabrication all in one location.
